Keep it real, keep it going

Why hello,

It's already April?! Say whutttt. Oh and, happy belated Easter! (:

This post is much probably a more personal one, and its also the reason why i keep writing. "The Cross" ; Easter service was one that touches me deep down in my heart, and also from that special friend of mine, I've learnt much.

I teared during the documentary. We all had our own sets of struggles, we all failed in many ways, we sin countless times, we can never ever be perfect. Sounds really pathetic aren't we? being humans. BUT this is where Jesus comes in. When we fall in love with Him all over again, and know how much He loved us, we know that we go through life's struggle without having to be alone. You are not alone, you are set free and no longer slaves to sin. We are still not perfect, we will never be, we may fall back to square one, but we will always, always have Jesus, and that is thus, A BEAUTIFUL STRUGGLE.

On that rugged cross, Christ died for us. Thank you Lord for the cross.

Isaiah 53:5
"But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed."
Let us keep this close to our hearts too.

Another thing i would like to share here, something that i've read up recently and it spoke so much sense into me so i am pretty sure it will to you too.

We all aim to be real in every aspects of our life, and that includes our relationship and walk with God. To discover the real us, we gotta take a look at what we personally spend time think about, when no one is looking, when nothing is forcing us to think about anything in particular. At such moments, do we thoughts go towards God?
We may want to be humble, unassuming person, but do we take the initiative to confess our sins before God? We wish to be perceived as a positive, cheerful person, but do we habitually thank God for everything we have and praise Him for who He is? We may speak a great deal about what a "blessing" your faith is and how you "really love the Lord" but if you are prayer-less – is that really true? If we aren't joyful, humble, and faithful IN PRIVATE before God, then what we want to appear to be on the outside won't match what we truly are.

This made me reflect about my own private life to, I may speak about how much I love God, but I lack prayers. we are all growing in different areas and it is ok to fail sometimes, the real deal is what you choose to do after you failed.

Keep it real, keep it going.

With His love and mine,
Vee
