Hi friends! Welcome to the
second last challenge of Teenage Gorgeous You! 2017. Indeed time sure flies! In this surprise
challenge, we met up all together with the TGY team for a day of café trail!
The challenge was revealed to us on the spot that we had to document our café
trail and create a video within 3hrs of the trail! Weww, that sure is
challenging enough! For the first time we had no privilege of our computers and
software to edit our video, all we had was our mobile devices and apps! Thank
goodness it is a team effort! We are partnered up randomly and I’m happy to
share that Amyn (@amynosaurus) got to be my partner in crime!
Here’s the video we manage to
compile within the 3hrs of the café trail!
I would say… it ain’t that
bad after all, we did a pretty decent job didn't we! Thank God for the video
stabilizer in Iphone 7plus! *winks. Haha
The first café we went to was
Food Anatomy!
Yes, those cute little
munchies in the shape of a cube! Ahhhh Aesthetic much! So Instagram worthy
right!
Food Anatomy is where design
meets culinary. To them, delicious is not enough and every dish must also look
beautiful. They define beauty not from the conventional way of culinary
plating. Instead, the aesthetic of each dish is developed more as a graphic
design project. They want their customers to feast with both their eyes and
mouth! As a graphic designer myself, I am definitely buying the idea! (inserts*
heart shaped eyes)
Omg do you know that you can
even CREATE your own meal?! Every meal at Food Anatomy consist of a choice of 3
dishes. Assemble a meal from the a wide
variety of different dishes. Depending
on what you want, you can freely mix and match the warm and cold dishes, the
desserts and salads.
Amyn and I had the
opportunity to try 4 cubes of meal! It turned out that the colourful Bacon
Potato and Nasi Lemak were our favourite!

Next stop, dal.komm coffee!
Where coffee and music meets!
I was pretty excited to visit
dal.komm coffee because of all the K dramas I’ve watched; they always have a
scene or two at dal.komm coffee in Korea. HAHA.
They serve a wide variety of
coffee and deserts, a perfect place to hang out during your tea break! I’ve tried
their cakes, and I don’t have a favorite pick, because all of them are so
yummy! You have to try the kimchi pizza though, it is my favorite dish by far!
I’m so spoiled by choice, because they have so much on their menu, from drinks
to deserts, I wished I could try all of them! So gonna visit them again. And oh,
did I mention that the interior is huge? Which explains the number of photos
taken. Every corner is photo-worthy!
Wild Tyler appears. HAHA
