31.12.2014

Here's a post before i head out like everyone else to countdown.
I can never emphasize enough how quick 2014 has passed, definitely an eventful year but it's way too fast, seems like each year is passing by faster and faster, doesn't it?

Well my reflection for 2014, and another time of thanksgiving for the year, i can say that this year is an adventurous one for me, and it was filled with open doors of opportunities.

Things to thank God for :
- This was the year of appreciation, where i graduated from TP,  there's lecturers and friends i truly appreciated through my journey in TP design, definitely missed those moments of going to school and rushing assignments. (crazy, haha)
Also my last GEM performance with TPDE, a place where i made the most friends, had the most crazy moments and where my passion for dance grew and nurtured. Just want to say that i really really loved my batch of dancers i grew with.
DESIGN AND DANCE FTW :)

-This was the year of adventure because the impossible became possible, i travel the most this year, with friends alone and it was made possible because of friends and family's support. Most unforgettable one was LONDON trip! Best trip thus far, already missing every moments of it! Been to Batam for a one day mission trip, and made new friends too! Also to Turi Beach at Batam with my lovely ladies, (beach holiday with babes fulfilled!) And also a super impromptu trip to BKK for the first time and yes FINALLY! (shopping and food paradise trip fulfilled!) all thanks to Tim :)
Lastly, planned a Krabi trip with the lg next year! (soon, very soon!) though it didn't happen this year but the trip was planned and booked this year so it counts i guess. haha OMG I CANT WAIT.
THANK GOD for everything! i'm a happy girl, because God is so good to me.

- A year filled with open doors of opportunities because i took a gap year, after i grad,  so i actually have quite some time to do what i want (that is also why traveling was possible).  I really wanted to study Uni, but that is next year's plan. So i took up multiple part time jobs, pretty comfortable with them cuz it was God given, didn't have a hard time finding job because opportunities just come by so easily. Thank God for design show, that there are companies that were actually interested in working with me, also to all the freelance opportunities that came by idk how. (Confrim is God's work)
And many of you have known, the humble handmade card business of mine made it quite well, thank to all of your support and love! and even a company looking to publish some of my work. Also, one of my favorite part time job is working with little kids :) teaching them art, its like double happiness. gee... this is like a dream coming true, something i never expect will ever happen.
God also brought my family closer to Him, He opened so so so much opportunities for me to share Christ with my family, and a breakthrough to even pray for my mum once, requested by my dad. Parents are more open to Christianity, and often come to me for simple prayer requests, can you believe it :,) Amazing, God is so amazing.

There were definitely moments when i'm in the valley low and moments where i have struggled through in life, not easy and many tears shed, but all in all I am just so thankful for 2014, thankful because i went through it with God, thankful because God's grace is endless.

As i embark on a new journey in 2015, which some things i foresee gonna happen, such as my 21st, Uni life, etc, i want to encourage all of you to journey it with Jesus, because EVERYTHING IS AWESOMEEEEEEE with Him along. (:

Thank you 2014, and Welcome 2015! pictures time!

Finally Met Abi!!! Miss this girl so much!

Did my nails at The Nail Artelier for the first time and I LOVED IT.

Cheers to the new year ahead! xoxo, Vee

Jolly

Indeed a jolly season this month! Always always loved the month of december (: such a great time of giving, spending time with loved ones, and receiving of course :D so much love. Not forgetting January! Both the 1st and the last are my fav! Oh for obvious reasons if you ask, haha! Okay, this is not gonna be a reflection post or the review of my 2014, not even sure if i will write a post bout it, because though this 1 year is really short and fast, there's still so much to talk about right? Until i have decided, here goes the lookbook of the season! Yours truly.
