Five Loaves and Two Fishes

Hello fellow readers,
This timing is suppose to be sleeping time, but well, late night thoughts again!
Wanted to only write a post at the start of December, but it seems like I can't contain this goodness to myself any longer!

So as my caption on instagram and facebook goes, "Thankfulness is never overrated", true enough, i am indeed so very thankful in this period of time because God is so so good (as usual of course!) to me.
Straight to the point. My handmade cards. At the very beginning, i expected only a few sales, and only by my usual supportive friends, which i was very appreciative of. Then here's what unexpected: Day by day, more people came to me to order the cards, and some orders are actually huge (*inserts shock emoji) even up till now, the sale is overwhelming :')  People whom i'm not really close with, people whom i rarely talked to, people whom i just got to know, even strangers! Receiving emails from them never failed to make me wonder: "how on earth did you get to know me and my cards?".  Words cannot express how i feel, i don't even know how to continue writing this...but gosh, I'm so so blessed by you people, so blessed by God! I bet God knows about my financial needs and this was actually a way He provided what i lacked :')  My cards were nothing sort of great or "up there", but you guys see the beauty in it somehow, and I AM REALLY REALLY THANKFUL. A shout out for those who supported me and my cards, YOU know who you are! THANK YOU SO MUCH. It means so much to me :)

Also, some of you might already know, i have been approached by an Art & Design Ecommerce Store + Informative Platform for Creatives a.k.a visualtroops to publish my artworks for sale. I went on board and became a visualtrooper too! So thankful once again for such opportunities for me to showcase my humble works!

As i was reflecting about this blessing, it really reminded me of the story of Five Loaves and Two Fishes (now the title make sense to you).

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

John 6:1-14New International Version (NIV)
Go read it! Here's a summary! In the story, The five barley loaves and two small fish supplied by a boy were used by Jesus to feed a multitude (about 5000 people!).
Jesus saw a large crowd and had compassion on them and healed their sick. One night, everyone was hungry, But five loaves of bread and two fish is all the disciples can find. Jesus directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketful of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

I see similarities in that situation. I only had little to give, to use what God has given to me. Little did i know that He multiples it, so much so that i can be busy all day just making the cards. I am really nothing, but in Him, i'm all good. Indeed, we are blessed to be a blessing out there. I hope you guys are blessed by the cards made with love :)

Happy ending? Pictures time!

See my work in progress~

Special order by Andy (:

So thankful ^^

Also, i have tried (finally) honey creme for the first time! Not bad, but really so so, not worth the long queue i guess. Probably eat it once in a while. llao llao is way better.

My Dance ministry (: Thank God for the friends i have been always dancing with, as well as the new comers! Huan Ying!

And...hoohoo, FIRST EVER BAKING experience with Brenna. hahaha, I almost made a mess and screw up actually :/  But thankful for Brenna, she never blamed me, hehe.
Made Rainbow cheesecake! Had missing colours actually, so it became unicorn cheese cake. heh.

Thanks for reading this long post! Remember to count your blessings!
xoxo, Vee.
